  • the national education landscape,
  • issues in the north east,
  • moving from being a headteacher to a chief executive of an academy trust.

Andy Brown OBE is a retired headteacher after almost 21 years in the job and a lifelong career in education which has seen him teach in schools in Marske-by-the-Sea, Guisborough and Middlesbrough. He is currently chief executive of the AdAstra Academy Trust.

The Education Britain Conversations focuses on celebration, ambition and inspiration. A desire to have a different conversation about education and to look to the future; to change our system so it is able to meet the major challenges and identify what is important and what is working and to rediscover our national education treasures.
