The Education Reform Summit North – 4th February 2016
This landmark event was the third Education Reform Summit that the Education Foundation has run and the first for the North of England. Run in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University, the event brought together the most influential reformers and education leaders from across the North of England.
The Summit partnered with the TES and had excellent media coverage including a major article the week before the event and post the Summit too. Lord Nash, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Schools spoke and his welcome and speech is available here. Lucy Powell MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Education also did her first major speech at the Education Reform Summit North.
