After two years of planning, we are delighted to launch our most ambitious programme to date – Education Britain.
Building on our launch publication Education Britain – the journey to education reform, we are about to embark on a nationwide tour of events and summits in major cities, towns and regions across the UK – with a focus on ‘connecting education and business together for skills, growth and young people’. Launching at a reception in Manchester on the 4th June, hosted by Sir Howard Bernstein, CEO of Manchester City Council, we are then running our first summit in partnership with Manchester City Council and Manchester Schools Alliance on the Digital Future of the city – with 200 schools, colleges, universities, entrepreneurs and businesses on the 5th June. We have a stellar line up of speakers, digital making sessions, school and college showcases – as well as some excellent network partners including Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, New Economy, Manchester Digital, Coadec, Founders4Schools and Silicon Valley Comes to the UK.
Education Britain is supported by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills who have provided seed funding to launch the website and our first set of events.
