Ty Goddard is the Co-founder of The Education Foundation.

He was previously Founder and Director of the British Council for School Environment; Managing Director of the award winning design company School Works; and Strategic Community Manager at Brighton and Hove City Council.

Ty worked as an advisor to the Department for Children, Schools and Families on Extended Schools and the co-location of services and was an elected Chair of Education at Lambeth Council. He also worked as the UK and European Political Advisor for the NSPCC; National Campaigns Co-ordinator for SCOPE; and as a Researcher for the Social Market Foundation. He was recently voted onto 2012 Evening Standard 1000 most influential people in London list and received the American Architecture Foundation Medal for Design Leadership for services to the education and design industry in the US and UK.

Ty grew up in Stockport and studied at the University of Sussex and Keele University.
